Newborn Map
About
Weeks 0–13. Three jobs. Not a clock.
Newborn Map is a US editorial site for new parents in weeks 0–13. Those weeks are not a fake clock. They are three jobs: feed the baby, keep sleep safe, and skip extra gear.
The pages are short on purpose. They say what we know, what we do not, and when to call a clinician who has seen this baby. We are not a doctor's office. We are not pediatricians. This is not medical advice. We do not invent a house clinician or a credentialed byline.
Sleep writing follows AAP safe-sleep rules: back, firm, flat, empty, room-share. We do not claim a product prevents SIDS. Feeding writing follows infant cues, not ounce tables we made up. Registry writing names a short use list and a skip list so the cart stays small.
When we cite a safety or health rule, we point at AAP, CDC, CPSC, NHTSA, or FDA — public US sources. If an agency has not said something, we do not fill the gap with a schedule. Partner links may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That does not change the medical disclaimer. Crisis lines stay in the footer: 988 and 1-833-TLC-MAMA.
